Microsoft Word – Dinosaur Kits Poster.docx

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the discovery of dinosaur footprints in the Peace River Canyon! Have you ever wanted to know what it was like to be a paleontologist in the Peace Region? Now’s your chance to find out through this FREE take home kit.

Discover what a palaeontologist does and read about notable Peace Region palaeontologists on our fun fact sheet. Cut, assemble, and identify a dinosaur in our bed bone craft. Pretend to be a palaeontologist and excavate your very own dinosaur skeleton from an earthen block
using a digging tool and brush!

200 kits are available (one per child). Ages 6+ (or 4+ with lots of adult assistance).

Kits are available starting Friday, November 18 at the Fort St. John North Peace Museum (9323 100th St.) for as long as supplies last. Call 250-787-0430 for more information.
