Dinovember at the Museum

The Fort St. John North Peace Museum and Fort St. John Public Library are teaming up to celebrate Dinovember with fun activities all November long!

Dinovember Adventures

12 plastic dinosaurs are trapped in the museum and get into all sorts of mischief! One photo of their adventures will be posted on the Fort St. John North Peace Museum Facebook page each day in November. Families can vote for their favourite by emailing fsjnpmuseum@fsjmail.com and be entered to win a dinosaur family fun pack (one entry per family please).

Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt at the Museum

There are 12 friendly (but mischievous) dinosaurs hiding around the Fort St. John North Peace Museum’s exhibits. Can you find and identify all twelve to win a prize? Scavenger hunts are free with the price of regular admission.

Dinosaur Excavation Take Home Kits

Available starting Friday, November 18th at the Museum

2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery of dinosaur footprints in the Peace River canyon and to celebrate we’re handing out 200 FREE take-home kits sponsored by Surerus Pipeline. Learn about paleontology and excavate your very own dinosaur skeleton from an earthen block. Kits are recommended for ages 6+ (or 4+ with lots of adult assistance).
